About Hannah

As a society, we have largely become disconnected from our bodies and this affects both physical and emotional health. My wish is to bring gentle awareness back to the body in a safe therapeutic space. When we learn how to tune into our bodies, we are provided with a wealth of information and knowledge which is empowering and facilitates self- growth and change. Living life with more ease, peace, alignment and balance is fundamental to our health and happiness.

My background is in community and hospital social work, working with adults and older adults with a range of physical and mental health needs and also adults with learning and developmental needs. I bring this experience into my therapeutic work and remain passionate about working with people from all walks of life and across the life span.

I found Cranio-Sacral therapy in 2000 following a car accident.  I remember being intrigued by the simplicity of the therapists touch and yet it’s incredible healing ability to not only resolve my physical injuries but release the shock of the accident I hadn’t realised my body was holding onto. To release it felt strange yet incredible. Intrigued by this curious and magical therapy and experiencing positive physical and emotional benefits, I chose to continue to work through more layers and imprints of life.

I instinctively returned to this therapy once again following some significant life events, helping me to process some really difficult experiences. It was from here that I knew I wanted to train as a therapist at the College of Cranio-Sacral Therapy in London with the esteemed Thomas Atlee.
